Origin of Norrin Radd

 Hello everyone, I hope y’all are doing great.

A lot of you might recognise the name "Norrin Radd", for those who are a marvel fan, watched all the marvel movies, and still not recognise him, you will by the end of this blog. This is the origin of Norrin from Earth-616.

Norrin Radd was born on the planet "Zenn-La". He is from a humanoid species that are extremely long lived and really very technologically advanced civilisation. Planet Zenn-La was filled with barbarism, however, eventually it grew into an utopia, free from crime, diseases, hunger and poverty. Norrin was named after "Norrin Konn", the scientist responsible to bring this change to his civilisation.

Norrin's mother "Elmar", couldn't adapt to the changing environment and ended up killing herself. Norrin was raised by his father into an intellectual youth and also encouraged him to seek for knowledge and advancement, unlike the people from his civilisation. Norrin's father "Jartran", eventually committed suicide after been accused of idea theft.

Norrin has always longed for challenges and adventures. Little did he know that all of it was going to come true, although not the way he wanted it to be.

Since Zenn-La has been in peace, the defence system eventually get compromised by the one that would completely change Norrin's life. A menacing alien space craft was moving towards the planet. Norrin convinced the members of "Council of Scientists" to provide him with a spaceship. Norrin left for the alien space craft and eventually confronted the one in the space craft. He convinced him to spare Zenn-La in exchange of becoming this alien's herald.

If you haven't guessed yet, the alien invader was none other than Galactus who intended to consume Zenn-La and Norrin is one of his multiple heralds. Galactus transformed Norrin, based on Norrin's memories, into his most famous herald that we know as "the Silver Surfer".
