MCU Spideman has the potential of becoming the darkest live action Spiderman

Hello everyone, I hope y’all are doing great.

In this blog, I am going to share my perspective on why I think that MCU Spiderman has potential of becoming the darkest live action Spiderman.

So far, Tobey Maguire is the only live action Spiderman who went dark on screen. Tobey Maguie Spideman was the first live action Spiderman to bond with a symbiote. It happened in Spiderman 3 when Peter became Black Spiderman. At that time, her cam to know about Uncle Ben's true murderer and bonding with the symbiote enraged him even more and gave him power to take his Uncle Ben's murderer. He was still a hero, just a bit more violent. The darkness rose from the anger towards Flint. Now one thing that we must remember is that anger is never a true emotion, anger is always a cover up emotion. Anger is the one emotion that tries to cover up for some other emotion, an emotion that we are trying to suppress. This true feeling is always a negative feeling, no necessarily evil, but still a negative one. In Ramiverse Spiderman's case, it was sorrow. Sorrow for losing his uncle. This Peter eventually lost his best friend too, however he didn't went dark and instead he was been inspired by his friend. Where Norman Osborn chose to be a villain, his son harry, who had same powers as his dad chose to fight for good instead. Both died by their own glider's blade, however, where Norman died while trying to kill Peter, Harry instead dies protecting him, showing no matter what the circumstances, we can always choose to do good.

The next live action Spiderman was Andrew Garfield's Spiderman (Webbverse spiderman) . This spiderman never came in contact with any symbiote, however he did went dark, although not on screen. This spiderman mentioned in No Way Home how tried to continue being a friendly neighbour Spiderman after losing Gwen, however he eventually got bitter and stopped holding his punches. This Peter lost his Uncle Ben and became Spiderman to track the guy who killed his uncle, eventually becoming a hero. He also lost his parent, however that is something that is same as all other Spiderman. Then Gwen's dad, the one guy from the police who fought the Lizard with Spiderman, died trying to stop the Lizard. While dying, his last wish was for Peter to stay away from Gwen to keep her safe. Peter fails to keep the promise and that leads to Gwen's death. Gwen's death shook him really hard. He didn't just had the sorrow of losing his loved one, he also had guilt of not fulfilling Officer Stacy's last wish along with the guilt of his failure of saving Gwen. This guilt became anger, and even without a symbiote, filled him with guilt of frustration that lead him go dark(off screen).

MCU Spiderman's story started off much less tragic as compared to the previous two Spiderman, however, it ended up becoming the most tragic one so far. Ramiverse Spiderman still has MJ and Aunt May. Webbverse Spiderman still had aunt may and is potential to meet MJ of his universe (as it was initially been planned for The Amazing Spiderman 3), but at the end of his first trilogy, MCU Spiderman lost everything(in a way). When he was been introduced, he had already lost his parents and his Uncle Ben (off screen), he still had Aunt May and his best friend Ned. Then he met Tony Stark who became his mentor. Then he got disintegrated in Infinity War. He returned in End Game, lost his mentor. He then met Mysterio who he befriended and who felt like a mentor figure to him. He trusted him with the last gift that Tony left for Peter. He and MJ then got together and also found out that Mysterio betrayed him. He then almost got killed by Mysterio. He ended up in Jail from where he escaped. His mind got so messed up that he had to check if Happy who came to help him was the real one. He then managed to stop Mysterio who died because of getting shot by the drones that he himself was controlling. Peter then thought that thing will get better but then a clip leaked that was been edited in such a manner that it looked like Peter killed Mysterio. He got free from the charges, however people still considered him guilty. He still tried to ignore it and focused on getting in a good college, however he got rejected from all of them because of being Spiderman. The worst part was that his friends were rejected because of being his friends. He went to Dr. Strange for help who suggested a spell to make sure that everyone forgets that Peter is Spiderman, but he is not being informed about how the spell works until Dr. Strange actually started to cast the spell. He then tries to add some conditions to the spell that would make sure that his loved ones do not forget him but that leads to the spell getting messed up. The spell leads to the villains from Ramiverse and Webbverse to MCU. He then tries to cure them in order to save them but it leads to Aunt May's death. After meeting Ramiverse and Webbverse Spiderman, he manages to cure the Lizard, Electro and Sandman (he had already cured Dr. Ock before Aunt May's death). When it cam to Green Goblin, he got full of rage and fought him and eventually tried to kill him,  only to be stopped and calmed by Ramiverse Spiderman, after which he used the cure on Green Goblin, curing him.

In this fight, we saw of how dark and powerful MCU Spiderman can go without symbiote. he almost killed Green Goblin willingly. He then asked Dr. Strange to cast another spell, a spell that will erase all records and memories of his existence. He did it to protect the universe. It was a really unique sacrifice, a sacrifice where his loved ones who were alive at the time stayed alive, he didn't die either, but still, he lost all his loved ones. He goes to remind MJ of him but after watching her injury he decided not to in order to keep her safe.

This Spiderman already have guilt of his loved one's death and well as sorrow of losing everyone. Unlike the other two Spiderman, MCU Spiderman literally have no one. He has become much more stronger, but the guilt and sorrow can eventually lead to his darkness to unleash. No just that, MCU now also has a part of Venom symbiote that can bound with Peter. If that happens, the MCU Peter and Venom and combine to become the deadliest dark Spidermam so far.

So that was the my thought on how MCU Spiderman can potentially become the darkest live action Spiderman(so far).
