Hello everyone, I hope y’all are doing great.
Boruto Manga Chapter 81, or should I say "Boruto : Two Blue Vortex" Chapter 1 is finally out now and this is the story 3 years after where we left off in Boruto manga Chapter 80.
The chapter we were waiting for is now here and we are finally in the time skip. Part 2 of Boruto manga is named "Boruto : Two Blue Vortex". Well something better than nothing I guess considering Naruto part 2 manga was still "Naruto" (there was no Naruto Shippuden manga, only the anime had that name).
The manga begins with Sarada having an argument with Shikamaru who is now the Eighth Hokage of Konoha. The argument is about giving Boruto another chance and hear his side of the story, however Shikamaru refuses saying that it is the villager's will as well. He also asks Sarada to forget him and move on as that would be better for her future as a shinobi or else she would stay a Genin forever (apparently unlike anime where Sarada became a Chunin in part 1 itself in manga she is still a Genin even post time skip). Somewhere else Chocho is helping in training Himawari and it is revealed that although she does seem to have been affected by Omnipotence as well, she still believes that based on what she knows Boruto (based on what originally she knew about Kawaki) can not kill Naruto. She also feels that her parents are still alive somewhere.
It is also revealed that Kawaki can indeed easily visit his dimension where he has kept Naruto and Hinata in sort of time frozen state. Sarada and Sumire are discussing how initially people did took into consideration the fact that how is Kawaki's body modified by Kara outside Konoha (as Boruto's body has not been modified and that is the memory switched with Kawaki) and how is Kawaki not Momoshiki's vessel anymore but then everyone forgot those questions too.
Kawaki is also helping in shrinking Code's claw marks and it turns out that some of the shinobi also have been implanted with his claw marks. Using these claw marks Code's ten tails soldiers infiltrate Konoha and begin's their rampage. These soldiers also have claw marks using which more soldiers can be summoned. Code also uses the claw marks to enter the village in front of Sarada to use her as a bait to summon Boruto. It is at this moment that Boruto heroically enters the scene.
Overall, although the new manga name doesn't feels that exciting at first, the first chapter seems pretty decent. "Two Blue Vortex" could be symbolising Boruto and Kawaki. As Boruto said in the begining, this is his story and Naruto was a part of it for the first part but now that he is gone, this is just Boruto and Kawaki's story, hence "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" no more as it's not Naruto's story anymore, it's "Boruto: Two Blue Vortex", the story of two brothers (Boruto and Kawaki) in the two different sides.
Just like how Naruto and Jiraiya leaving the village for three years helped Naruto get trained and keep Akatsuki away from Konoha, Boruto and Sasuke leaving and staying out of the village to train helped keep Code away from harming Konoha, however, Code is not Akatsuki and he has nothing to hold back. Unlike Akatsuki who had to extract all 9 tail beasts, Code had only one target i.e. Boruto. It is unclear if he is after Boruto because of his hatred towards Kawaki with whom Boruto got switched with or if somehow Code still retained his memory and since his original target to be fed to Ten Tails was Boruto so he is after Boruto or may be since Eida left his side he doesn't care anymore and since Boruto killed Ishiki (in his memory) he wants to end him. No epic fights yet but looks like they have started to lay ground work for the future chapters. Currently Code is a common enemy for Kawaki and Boruto but will they team up for this one time or not is not clear yet. I am indeed excited for the next chapter.
This chapter is available in viz media official site as well.
