Hello everyone, I hope y’all are doing great.

Summary

The last arc ended with Bulma joining Goku in his journey to locate the four star dragon ball. On their way, Bulma encounters some men from General Blue's squad of Red Ribbon Army. Later she gets rescued by Goku. The two of them then stop by Kame House, which was near by, to get a mini submarine to get the dragon ball that was located somewhere under water. General Blue and his squad follows them to get to the dragon ball as well as to eliminate them as per Commander Red's orders. The two groups end up in a cave that turned out to be pirate's secret hideout. General Blue's almost whole squad gets wiped out here, however he continues to follow Goku and his group. When Goku gets temporarily separated from Bulma and Kuririn, Kuririn leaves a mark to let Goku know to correct direction, however General Blue alters the marking to have Goku redirected to another direction. Bulma and Kurirn end up finding Pirate's treasure, however they are then confronted by General Blue who, using his telekinetic abilities, easily defeats Kurirn. Goku then arrives the scene and confront's General Blue. Goku also gets frozen by General Blue's telekinetic abilities, however gets saved by a mouse. Goku then defeats General Blue, gets the Dragon Ball and then leaves with Bulma and Kuririn along with the mouse that saved him earlier as the cave colapses. General Blue also manages to escape using his own strength. Goku and his friends return to Kame house, only to be followed by General Blue who ties them using his telekinetic abilities and gets the Dragon Balls and leaving them a time bomb. Lunch arrives on time and unties everyone after which Goku tosses the bomb and thereby avoiding the explosion. Goku then chases General Blue mid air and arrives in Penguin village. Here he meets a girl named Arale who is really strong. At the end, General Blue almost defeats Goku only to be sent flying by Arale. Goku then gets back his dragon ball however General Blue lands in a desert with Goku's Dragon Radar. Turbo builds a new Dragon Radar for Goku after which Goku leaves to continue his journey. General Blue informs the headquarters about the failure as well as that they now have Goku's Dragon Ball which is still kind of a success. At the end of the arc, Goku continues his quest to locate the four star Dragon Ball while General Blue is heading towards the Red Ribbon Army headquarters riding a camel.

My Thoughts

It was quite a lengthy arc that had a lot going on. General Blue was not as strong as Goku, however his telekinetic powers made a difference. Not just his abilities, he was the most persistent antagonist in the series that I've seen so far, I mean, the guy really doesn't know when to give up. He keeps getting beaten by Goku but still doesn't give up. Every time it looks like he is done, he just gets up again and continues towards his goal. This is what made him feel much different than any other antagonists shown before him. It was a pretty good arcs, however to be honest, because the length of the arc, there were parts where I felt like "just get done with the arc already, how much longer is it going to take before the end of the arc". There were still some great moments too. Overall, I would give this arc a 7 on 10. It was a decent arc, General Blue seemed a much better antagonist as compared to prior antagonist, however the arc felt like unnecessarily lengthy even for a threat like General Blue.
